OHS SENIOR MALIK S. ELECTED GOVERNOR AT BADGER BOYS STATE: Oconomowoc High School Senior, Malik S. participated in Badger Boys State this summer. Badger Boys State is a week-long leadership program for young men entering their Senior year of High School, to learn more about state government, leadership, and potential future career opportunities. Attendees act as "citizens" of a fictitious state called "Badger" and are assigned to a city and county within that state. They run for and elect their peers to positions within all levels of city, county, and state government. Over the course of the week, attendees act out their elected roles and learn more about teamwork, service to their community and so much more. We're proud to share that Malik was elected as Governor of Badger by over 800 of his peer participants. This is the highest elected position available during the Badger Boys State program. Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment, Malik!
