In an effort to combat the increase in drug-related incidents among our student population, OASD is proposing a new policy for random drug testing of 7th-12th grade students who participate in school athletics, clubs or organizations, or who have a school parking pass.

The school board received a draft policy and will take it under review in January. Upon school board approval, the drug testing policy for 7th-12th grade students will be implemented in Fall 2015.
