the Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD) is pleased to announce that Oconomowoc High School (OHS) Seniors Gianna Milazzo and Nicholas Schulz have been selected as 2019 Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship recipients.

The Foundation awards $10,000.00 scholarships to 188 Wisconsin high school graduates each year because of their leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement. Students are also evaluated on their ability to articulate goals in four areas: future education goals, personal life goals, community/society service goals, and career goals. Milazzo and Schulz will both be recognized at a regional luncheon on Saturday, April 13, at Greenfield High School.

"Gianna and Nick represent the standard of leadership and academic excellence that we work to instill in all students at OHS. Our staff and students are incredibly proud of Gianna and Nicholas for receiving this honor. We could not think of two more well-deserving individuals", shared OHS Principal Jason Curtis. Congratulations, Gianna and Nicholas from the Oconomowoc Area School District!
