We're excited to start the 2019-20 school year! The first day of school fluctuates slightly, depending on what grade your child is entering. Here is our first day of school schedule:
- 4K students will start school on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
- Students attending the morning 4K program will be in school from 8:40 to 11:20 a.m.
- Students attending the afternoon 4K program will be in school from 1:00 to 3:40 p.m.
Students entering 5K - 4th Grade
- 5K-4th grade students will start school on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
- Students in grades 5K through 4th will be in school from 8:40 a.m.-3:40 p.m.
Students entering 5th-8th Grade
- 5th-8th grade students will start school on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
- Students in grades 5 through 8 will be in school from 7:30 a.m. - 2:55 p.m.
Students entering 9th Grade
- Oconomowoc High School Freshman will start school on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
- Students at OHS will be in school from 7:20 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
- This is the first year that only Freshman will be at school on the first day. This will allow our newest Raccoons to learn their way around the building and integrate themselves into the OHS community.
- ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED
- Buses will operate on their regular schedule.
- Students will meet their teachers but should not bring their Chromebooks or school supplies on September 3rd. Freshman should bring Chromebooks and school supplies on Wednesday, September 4th.
- The day is designed to help students meet each other, learn about high school, and lay a foundation for a fun and successful year.
- Students will be able to purchase lunch in the cafeteria or bring their own lunch on September 3rd.
- There will be an OHS All School Cookout on Wednesday, September 4th and lunch will be free. There is no need to bring a lunch that day.
Students entering 10th-12th Grade
- Oconomowoc High School Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will start school on Wednesday, September 4, 2019
- Students at OHS will be in school from 7:20 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
- Students should bring their Chromebooks and school supplies on September 4th.
- There will be an OHS All School Cookout on Wednesday, September 4th and lunch will be free. There is no need to bring a lunch that day.
