RACCOON RALLY TONIGHT: Come to the 2^nd Annual Raccoon Rally Tonight! OHS Student Council will host this pre-game family carnival and community event on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 4:00-7:30 p.m. at Rux Stadium, with a Varsity Football Game starting at 7:00 p.m. The rally will feature carnival games, face painting, music, a performance stage, bouncy houses, food, and more! SAVE THE DATE - MEADOW VIEW ELEMENTARY DEDICATION CELEBRATION: OASD Families and the Oconomowoc community are invited to celebrate the opening of the new Meadow View Elementary School at a dedication celebration on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Meadow View Elementary, 1500 Whalen Drive, Oconomowoc.There will be a formal dedication ceremony followed by tours of the building.

OHS SENIOR PARENT NIGHT: Parents of OHS seniors are invited to Senior Parent Night on Wednesday, September 11, at 6:00 p.m. in the Oconomowoc Arts Center.This evening will provide a wealth of information on the following topics:

• College, career, and life readiness
• Post High School exploration
• College admission procedures and process
• Scholarship resources and information
• Financial aid process – a financial aid expert will speak about important deadlines and details on filling out the FAFSA.

Students are encouraged to come to Parent Night. They will also begin post high school planning workshops with their counselors in September. If you have any questions, please contact the OHS Student Services office at (262)-560-3115.

OHS BUILDING TRADES 3 BREAKS GROUND ON NEW HOME:Our Oconomowoc High School Building Trades 3 Class celebrated the start of the school year with a groundbreaking ceremony for the new house they're helping to build with Tim O'Brien Homes. For the last 11 years, Tim O'Brien Homes has partnered with OHS and Teacher Steve Olson, to give our students this home building experience.Our students will continue to work at the Pabst Farms job site for the school year, learning alongside professional tradespeople. OHS Athletics

CROSS COUNTRY: The Girls and Boys Varsity teams traveled to Kenosha for the Kenosha Tremper Dog Days of Summer Invite last weekend.There were no team scores kept for the invite but both teams had strong performances to prepare them for the Racine Horlick Rebel Invitational at UW-Parkside this weekend.

DANCE TEAM: The OHS Dance Team is hosting their Annual Youth Clinic on Friday, September 20, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. The clinic is open to kids in 4K-8^th grade and will be held in the OHS Gale Douglas Fieldhouse. Learn more and sign up by visiting the OASD Online Webstore.

FOOTBALL: The Varsity team faced Mukwonago on Friday, August 30, and ended the game with a 42-0 loss.

GOLF: The Varsity team played in a scramble against Monona Grove at Door Creek Golf Course on August 29, and came home with the win.

SOCCER: The Varsity team hosted Madison East on Tuesday and ended with a 3-0 loss.

TENNIS: The Girls Varsity team traveled to Muskego on Tuesday for a Classic 8 dual meet and finished with a 6-1 loss .The teamed faced Catholic Memorial on Wednesday in a tough battle and came out with a close 4-3 loss.

VOLLEYBALL: The Volleyball team kicked off their season at The Joust last weekend. The team finished 1^st in the Silver bracket and 4^th overall. The team hosted Waukesha West last night, in their first Classic 8 Conference match of the season and finished with a 3-0 sweep.

OCONOMOWOC SPORTS BOOSTER CLUB – COONEY CARD SALE: Support the Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club & Oconomowoc High School Athletics by purchasing a $20 "Cooney Card"! OHS athletes and coaches will be selling the cards door-to-door throughout Oconomowoc on Sunday, September 8^th.The card is full of discounts for area restaurants, retail stores, and activities. The Cooney Discount Cards can also be purchased in the ticket booth at all Home athletic events and at the OHS Athletic Department office. The Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club will also sell the cards along with Ocon apparel during various Home athletic events throughout the year.
