oconDRIVEN STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS: Our OASD students are oconDRIVEN to work hard and reach their goals. OHS PLAYERS PRESENT WEST SIDE STORY: This landmark Broadway musical is inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Timeless music composed by the late Leonard Bernstein, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, include "Maria," "Tonight," "America," "Somewhere," "I Feel Pretty," "Gee, Officer Krupke," and more. From the first notes to the final breath, the world's greatest love story takes to the streets in this dynamic production that is considered one of theater's finest accomplishments. West Side Story contains mature content and is appropriate for ages 12 and older. This period piece includes depiction of violence, prejudiced language, and safe gunfire simulation. Tickets are on sale now at www.TheOAC.net.

OPEF ANNUAL BALL RAISES OVER $70,000:The Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation (OPEF) hosted their Annual Ball on November 1, and over 200 community members attended, raising more than $70,000 for our district.Thank you to the community members, area businesses, and OPEF Board members for supporting the OASD.

OHS Athletics

CROSS COUNTRY: Congratulations to our Girls and Boys Cross Country teams on a great season! The Boys team finished in 5th place at State and the Girls team cheered on Kylie F. who finished 36th as an individual at State, her best race of the season.


SOCCER: Congratulations to our OHS Soccer players for making the Classic 8 All-Conference Team! 1st Team All-Conference: OHS Senior, Finn H., OHS Junior, Daniel B., OHS Junior, Augie D. 2nd Team All-Conference: OHS Junior, Xavier B. Honorable Mention: OHS Junior, Logan L., OHS Junior, Cameron H., OHS Sophomore, Asher H., OHS Freshman, Dylan H., OHS Freshman Noah K. Congratulations to our students and coaches on a great season!


SWIM: Congratulations to the Swim Team for a strong finish at the Conference Championship. The team swam in the Woodland Conference Championship last Saturday and finished 6th out of the 13-teams who participated. They team is headed to the Waukesha South Sectional tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.


VOLLEYBALL: Congratulations to our Volleyball athletes and coaches for winning the Sectional final last weekend and winning the quarterfinal against Kettle Moraine last night. The team faces River Falls on Friday, November 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Click here for information on fan busses and traveling to the match.
