4th GRADE FAMILIES – YOU'RE INVITED TO OUR 5TH GRADE INFORMATION NIGHTS:4th-Grade parents and guardians are invited to the Incoming 5th-Grade Information Nights at Silver Lake and Nature Hill Intermediate Schools. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the transition to Intermediate School, the daily schedule, and much more.

4K/5K REGISTRATION COMING JANUARY 13-24: 4K/5K registration is for all children starting 4K and for 5K families that are new to the OASD. If your child currently attends an OASD school for 4K, you do not need to register for 5K this month. You'll use the online registration process during the summer for the 2020-21 school year. Families should register their children at the OASD Elementary School they will attend. Families can register their children between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, from January 13-24, 2020, or during the special evening hours on Thursday, January 16, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Please note: January 20, 2020, is a PD Day in the OASD and school offices will be closed. COME TO THE 15TH ANNUAL JAZZ DANCE ON JANUARY 31ST: Help support our OASD Band Program and enjoy a night of great music at the 15th Annual Jazz Dance. The bands from OHS, Silver Lake Intermediate, and Nature Hill Intermediate will perform and there will be dancing, silent auction, raffles, and Saz's food available for purchase. Tickets for sale in advance at Piggly Wiggly and Books & Company in Oconomowoc, or available online by clicking on this link. Sponsored by the OHS Band Aids.

GEORGIE KRENZ "BORN TO TEACH" MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: Summit Elementary School has established the Georgie Krenz "Born to Teach" Memorial Scholarship. Anyone who knew Georgie knew that she was "Born to Teach," and she truly loved the teaching profession. She touched many lives in her 28 years at Summit Elementary School. The money raised through this scholarship fund will be awarded to a graduate of Oconomowoc High School pursuing a career in the education field. OHS Athletics
WATCH OHS BOYS & GIRLS HOME BASKETBALL GAMES LIVE ON YOUTUBE: You can watch all of the home OHS Basketball games livestreamed on YouTube by following this link.
BOYS BASKETBALL: The Varsity Team hosted Janesville Craig for a nonconference game on December 28, and rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to clench a 73-68 win.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: The Varsity Team traveled to Milwaukee Vincent on December 27, and brought home a swift 66-20 win.
HOCKEY: The KMMO Varsity Team faced Fond du Lac St. Mary's at Nagawaukee Ice Arena on December 28, but ended with a 3-2 loss.
WRESTLING: The team competed in the Mid-States Wrestling Classic and UW-Whitewater on December 27th and 28th. The team battled hard and finished with a 12th place overall finish. Congratulations to the team and the wrestlers who made a podium finish; Holden W. took 5th place, Brady J. took 6th place, Jacob M. took 4th place, and Lincoln W. took 5th place. Congratulations to Chase L. who took 9th place and Garner S. who took 11th place. OHS Freshman, Leah M. wrestled in the Badger State Invitation on December 21, and took first place in her division. She's also been ranked #1 in the State for her weight class.
OHS BOYS BASEBALL CAMP FOR GRADES 1-8: Sign up today for the 2020 Raccoon Baseball Camp, January 18, 25, and February 1, 2020. The camp is led by OHS Varsity Baseball Coach, Arno Kirchenwitz, along with the OHS Baseball Coaching Staff, current OHS players, and alumni.
