(Oconomowoc, WI) — In light of the uncertainty created by the increased impact of Coronavirus, closure of schools and the increased need to provide essential services for the most vulnerable in our community, we are confronted with a moment of truth. How best can we serve the community and support efforts to keep our community healthy and safe?

For many years, the Y and the Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD) have worked to support the families of Oconomowoc and Lake Country. Today, we are pivoting our resources to best support the most pressing needs in our community.

We are all working together to support those who are on the front line fighting this disease. These families need safe and reliable places for their children and we want to support them with child care services while they are working.

"The Oconomowoc Area School District is proud to partner with the YMCA to provide this valuable service to these families as they face continuing challenges in their heroic work," said Roger Rindo, Oconomowoc Area School District Superintendent.
