OHS Fall Sports: Information on Attending Games

In late August, the Classic 8 Conference voted to permit two attendance passes per athlete for football, girls volleyball, and boys soccer this fall and a letter was sent to all OHS fall athletic families regarding the conference decision. After the Classic 8 decision was shared with families throughout the region, the social gathering size-limits were increased by Waukesha County. The conference already had a plan before this announcement, and therefore, we plan to follow it until Superintendents and Athletic Directors meet again on September 30. At that time, the group will vote on whether or not to increase the number of passes allowed at each athletic event.

There have been many questions regarding our student body attending games, and we recognize differences in opinions within our athletic community regarding athletic attendance. The most important thing is that our high school athletes get a chance to play their season. The OHS administration is working on a plan to hopefully allow students and additional community members to attend games after September 30 and we will communicate further details as soon as they are available.

Classic Eight Conference Fall High-Risk Sports Attendance Pass Information
Applies to girls volleyball, football, and boys soccer

  • The two passes per OHS athlete are free of charge.
  • Lost passes can not be replaced. No pass. No admittance.
  • Passes will allow guests to attend both home and away events.
  • Passes will state the fall sport you have access to attend, and you will only be allowed to use it to attend the level of play your son or daughter plays. This process is to ensure OHS stays within capacity limits.
  • Passes provided to fall athletes will be the only entrance to games.
  • No other spectators will be allowed to attend OHS athletic events.
  • Who is allowed to use those passes is up to individual athletic families.
  • Muskego, Arrowhead, and Catholic Memorial have decided to charge an additional fee to enter their athletic events. That decision is locally controlled. Please present your pass and prepare for an additional $5.00 fee per person to attend their events.
  • Mukwonago, Kettle Moraine, Waukesha North, Waukesha South, and Waukesha West will only ask for the pass.
  • Passes will be delivered during the week of September 14.
  • Soccer and Volleyball athletes will receive their passes on Monday, September 14.
  • Football athletes will receive passes on Tuesday, September 15.
  • In the coming weeks, our admin team will be working on a plan that will hopefully allow students and possibly community members to attend games after September 30.
  • If attendance numbers are allowed to increase after September 30, OHS will decide how additional passes may be purchased.
  • Varsity Football and Soccer home games will be live streamed. Click this link to access the livestream link.

Classic Eight Conference Fall Low-Risk Sports Attendance Information
Applies to girls tennis, cross country, girls swim, and girls golf

  • Spectators are limited to parents/family only.
  • Please maintain a social distance from other spectators and please be aware that each facility may have unique regulations.
  • Please do not interact with athletes and coaches other than your child.
  • Varsity and JV tennis matches at OHS will have viewing spaces inside the court area that coaches will set up before each home event. We ask that immediately after your daughter's match, you exit the court so that others may watch their child. Interacting with your daughter, the team, and coaching staff at each event is prohibited.
  • JV2 tennis teams will look slightly different due to many participants. For these matches, you will be asked to view matches from outside the courts.
  • We ask that while viewing cross country runners on the course, social distancing is practiced. Please do not congregate in groups at the beginning and/or the finish line. At the end of each meet, interaction with your son or daughter, the team, and coaches is prohibited.

The OHS Athletic Department, Superintendent Dr. Rindo, and OHS Principal Mr. Curtis are doing everything possible to ensure OHS student-athletes have a great fall athletic experience. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement as we work together through these uncertain times.

If you have questions about a sport that your child is competing in, please contact your child's coach. Questions can also be directed to the OHS Athletic Department at (262)-560-3109.
