Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD) Summer School for grades 5K-12 will be held June 21-July 30, 2021. Oconomowoc families can visit the OASD Summer School web pages for the complete course and registration information. Grade level course brochures, step-by-step instructions for registration, and the payment process are posted on the district's website at www.oasd.org/SummerSchool.
Registration
- Online registration will be open beginning April 6, 2021, at 6:00 a.m. and will close April 18, 2021, at 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
- Registration will occur online through Family Access, the district's student management software.
- Summer School is held at three locations in the OASD:
- Elementary, K5 – 3rd Grade at Meadow View Elementary School
- Intermediate, 4th Grade – 8th Grade at Nature Hill Intermediate School
- High School, Grades 9-12 at Oconomowoc High School
NEW Schedule for 2021
We're offering a new class structure this year so that students stay in a cohort group each session for face-to-face learning.
COVID-19 Mitigation Measures
The OASD will continue to track COVID-19 cases among students and staff during Summer School and follow the Waukesha County Health Department COVID-19 quarantine guidelines. Families will receive additional information about COVID-19 mitigation measures and expectations before the first day of Summer School.
New Summer School Waiting List
Due to the high demand for Summer School courses, there will be a waiting list for elementary and intermediate courses that are full. During Summer School registration, you can visit www.oasd.org/SummerSchool and complete an online form to be added to the waiting list. Please understand that completing the waiting list form does not guarantee entrance to the course.
Important Dates
- April 6 – Registration opens at 6:00 a.m.
- April 18 – Registration closes at midnight
- June 21 – Summer School begins
- Term 1: June 21 – July 9
- July 5 – No Summer School
- Term 2: July 12 – July 30
- July 30 – Last day of Summer School
YMCA Before & After Summer School Camps
The YMCA is offering a Summer School Camp at Meadow View Elementary and Nature Hill Elementary Schools for students enrolled in Summer School. Course Fee Information
Payment for Summer School courses is required at the time of registration with a credit or debit card. Due to high Summer School demand, payment must be made the same day as registration to secure your child's place within the course or your course will be dropped.
