OPEF Presents 2020-21 Grant Awards to OASD Staff

The Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation (OPEF) formally presented awards to the 2020-21 OPEF grant recipients at the OASD School Board meeting this week. OPEF awarded $15,152.90 in grants to the Oconomowoc Area School District for the 2020-2021 school year. There were four educational grants awarded and one from the Jennifer Bukosky Fund, established for drug and alcohol abuse prevention education.

Congratulations to our grant recipients:
  • Eric Darnell and Kris Chadwick from Nature Hill Intermediate for their project, "Inspiring Engineers for the Future".
  • Sara Pyka, Alyssa Schmitz, and Lona Piber for their project, "School Communication Boards" at Greenland Elementary.
  • Scott Bakkum from Oconomowoc High School for his project, "Building Bridges that Empower Students".
  • Kristin Bunker from Meadow View Elementary for her project, "The Wildcat Gallery".
  • Krystal Nettesheim from Park Lawn Elementary for her project, "Felting Bookmarks".
