There are several job opportunities available at the OASD for the 2021-22 school year. The most urgent of these are substitute teaching positions, paraprofessional positions, food service positions, and custodial positions.
Substitute Teachers Needed!
If you hold a current teaching license issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, you can apply online today through WECAN. Shortly after you've completed the application process on WECAN, you'll receive a substitute information packet via email. Please be sure to complete all forms and actions within the packet as soon as possible.
Substitute Teacher Training Opportunities
If you have a 2-year or 4-year degree, you can easily become certified as a substitute teacher by attending a substitute training workshop and obtain permit licensure via the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The OASD provides reimbursement of the substitute training workshop costs or the DPI licensure for people who complete the training and substitute for the OASD.
