The Jerry Awards recognizes and honors excellence in high school musical theater. The Jerry Awards began in 2009 as the Tommy Awards and were renamed before the 2017-18 season in honor of philanthropist and arts supporter W. Jerome Frautschi.
Theater Director at OHS, Tiersa Ferraro stated, "A show like White Christmas gives an opportunity to so many students to experience theater on a large scale and be part of a positive social and learning environment. The OHS Performing Arts Department encourages all students to take part in all levels of performance and backstage artistry."
Beth Kauffeld, Choral Director & Vocal Director for Musical Theater at OHS added, "Our OHS Players and Performing Arts Department are so grateful to our district and greater Oconomowoc community for the support that they offer year after year! Our students' success is driven by that support and their passions for music and the arts."
Congratulations to all involved in the theater productions, and thanks to the community for supporting the arts at the OASD!
