OCONOMOWOC, WI – April 21, 2017. Earlier today, OASD Superintendent Roger J. Rindo, Ed.D. contacted the Lakeville School District and withdrew his name from the search for Superintendent in that district.
Regarding his decision to stay in Oconomowoc, Dr. Rindo stated, “After a very good discussion with the School Board about the work the Oconomowoc Area School District has started and the direction the District is headed, I am eager to remain in Oconomowoc and continue that work. Our discussion was honest and productive, and we left understanding that we all share the same goals and aspirations for our students and our community.
Dr. Rindo concluded, “I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with the Board as we advance our vision to become an unrivaled learning community. I remain committed to Oconomowoc, and more importantly, to the work that we are doing together here for all kids. We have made great progress, but the work is not finished. It is my intention to remain in Oconomowoc to see that work through. And I am humbled to do that work alongside strongest and most committed group of faculty, staff, and administrators that I have worked with in my career.”
