"Hairspray" Receives Record Number of Nominations
The recent OHS Players production of "Hairspray" was adjudicated by theatre professionals from around the state as part of the Overture Center's TOMMY AWARD program. But if you were lucky enough to be in the audience for the largely sold-out production, you won't be suprised by the resulting news.
Director and OHS teacher, Tom Klubertanz, just received word that the production was nominated for 28 Tommy Awards - including Outstanding Musical - the most nominations received by OHS since the program's inception five years ago.
Winners will be announced in May 2014.
