OCONOMOWOC, WI – May 10, 2017. The Oconomowoc Area School District announced today that Jill Marr has been selected as the new Principal at Silver Lake Intermediate School. She will replace Ellyn Helberg who will be retiring at the end of June.
Jill comes to Silver Lake with nearly 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher at the 3rd and 4th grade level in OASD. She has also served the District as Coordinator of Instructional Technology, and most recently Coordinator of Continuous Improvement and Innovation, a role that also included her work in instructional technology.
She is a graduate of UW Whitewater with a degree in Elementary Education. She earned a Master’s degree in Education from George Williams College of Aurora University, and attained her licensure in Administrative Leadership from Viterbo University.
Superintendent Dr. Roger Rindo stated, “We are thrilled to have Jill assuming the instructional leadership role at Silver Lake. As principal, she will bring a very student-centered approach and I have every belief that her leadership will help take Silver Lake to even higher levels.”
