Greenland Elementary Named Wisconsin Title 1 School of Recognition
The Oconomowoc Area School District is proud to announce that Greenland Elementary School was named a Wisconsin Title 1 School of Recognition by the Department of Public Instruction.
Greenland is being recognized in the High Progress category, which means their performance last year was among the top 10% of all Title 1 schools across the state in growth, in reading and math.
Overall, 133 elementary schools, 29 middle or junior high schools, and 11 high schools earned recognition. State Superintendent Tony Evers will host an awards program in Madison on Ocotober 13 to further recognize Wisconsin Title 1 School Recognition award recipients. Greenland Elementary will receive a plaque and $500 for use by the Wisconsin Title 1 Schools of Recognition Criteria.
