Oconomowoc High School Reports 24 AP Scholars

Highest Number of AP Scholars Since 2011

The Oconomowoc Area School District is pleased to announce that the College Board has recognized 24 Oconomowoc High School (OHS) students as AP Scholars, based on last spring’s Advanced Placement testing at OHS.

This is the highest number of students the district has had attain AP Scholar status since the College Board began that designation in 2011.  To be identified as an AP Scholar, a student must have a score of 3 or above on at least three Advanced Placement exams, and they typically can earn college credit as a result.

“Students are choosing to take AP classes as they recognize the benefit for them in college,” said OHS Principal Joseph Moylan. “They are earning credits, and are better prepared for having taken rigorous classes. We’re excited that more students every year are taking AP classes.”
